Skeletal remains found on Lumberton railroad tracks
LUMBERTON — Workers on Wednesday found skeletal remains on the railroad tracks near Powersville Road and Barker Ten Mile Road, according to the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office.CSX Corp. workers called authorities at 11:51 a.m., according to a news release from the Sheriff’s Office.The skeletal remains will be sent to the North Carolina Medical Examiner’s Office in Raleigh.
