Hope Mills police investigating death on River Road
HOPE MILLS — The Hope Mills Police Department is conducting a death investigation in a wooded area on the 5400 block of River Road in Hope Mills that was reported at 7:52 Tuesday morning, Police Chief Joel Acciardo said.The investigation is in its early stages, and no additional information is available.The area was blocked off with yellow police tape, and neighbors stood outside watching on the narrow road.This is a developing story and will be updated.
