A Cumberland County Detention Center inmate has been charged with severely beating another inmate.Peter Michael Messick, 28, was charged Thursday with felony assault inflicting serious injury, the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office said.He is accused of jumping Dillon Michael Silvas, 22, when automatic doors opened in the pod both were housed in, allowing Messick to get into Silvas’ cell, said Lt.
