Sex charges against Fayetteville man dismissed
Child sex offense charges filed against a Fayetteville man in January 2017 were dismissed this month in Cumberland County Superior Court.Jenkins Gaston Ford, 58, who was living on Progress Street at the time, was accused of sexually assaulting a girl under the age of 13 between 2011 and 2013, according to arrest documents.The nine charges were dismissed, based on insufficient evidence, when Ford appeared in court on June 6, according to a certified copy of the disposition.
