EPA plans meeting to discuss GenX, other compounds
The Environmental Protection Agency plans to hold a meeting in August to discuss potentially harmful chemicals like those discovered in wells around a Bladen County plant.EPA officials said an event in eastern North Carolina will be among three meetings focusing on PFAS, which is short for per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances.
