1. Martin Luther King Jr. Observance: Harnett County will hold its 21st annual Martin Luther King Jr. Observance in Dunn on Jan. 20. Events include a breakfast, parade and rally in downtown Dunn. The NAACP MLK Breakfast will be at 8 a.m. at the Dunn Community Building on Jackson Road. The keynote speaker will be state Rep. Garland Pierce of Scotland County.
