1. Blood donors needed: The Cape Fear Valley Blood Donor Center is critically low on Type O blood, which is often used for medical emergencies where there is heavy blood loss. Donors may go by the center, at 3357 Village Drive, Suite 150, weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to make a donation. Donors also may stop by one of the mobile units in the community.
