Weather Permitting: Region under tornado watch until 8 p.m.
Much of the Cape Fear region, including Fayetteville and Fort Bragg has been placed under a tornado watch until 8 p.m. by the National Weather Service.The risk includes straight-line damaging winds, heavy rainfall and the possibility of an isolated tornado across the region.Storms are expected in a line arriving toward sunset from the west.
