Moore County warned of mail scam
The Moore County Sheriff’s Office said in a news statement Thursday it has received complaints about a scam being sent by mail to residents in Moore County.The scam involves a letter that appears to come from the Publishers Clearing House and a check addressed to the resident, Sheriff Ronnie Fields said.
