Car inspection fee increase narrowly passes NC House committee
RALEIGH — A legislative committee has narrowly supported a slight uptick in the annual motor vehicle inspection fee in most North Carolina counties. The House Transportation Committee voted 14-13 on Tuesday in favor of increasing the fee by $1 to $14.60.
