Teen mom impregnated by NC police officer sues town
Lowell — A teen mom impregnated by a former Lowell Police Department officer has filed a federal lawsuit against the town, its police chief and the former officer now in prison. The girl, who would be 15 now, filed the lawsuit under the name of “Jane Doe” as a victim of childhood sexual abuse. She was joined in the lawsuit by her mother, Karen Vaughn.
