1. New exhibit: A new exhibit opens Jan. 12 at the Museum of the Cape Fear, 801 Arsenal Ave. “Treasures of Carolina: Stories from the State Archives” showcases one-of-a-kind documents, maps, photographs, historic war-era posters and other media. The free exhibit will highlight ordinary and extraordinary public and private records.
