Salvation Army Angel Tree applications kick off
The Salvation Army Community Center in Fayetteville filled Monday morning, as the organization kicked off accepting applications for its annual Angel Tree program.By mid-afternoon the crowd tapered off, but organizers are expecting to serve thousands this year.Last year, the annual program served 2,700 local children and senior citizens.Organizers are anticipating between 3,300 to 3,500 this year.In prior communities she’s worked, Maj.
