Clear the Shelters event praised by judge
The Cumberland County District Court judge who oversees animal abuse cases praised county staff for holding a “Clear the Shelters” event that resulted in more than 100 pet adoptions.“On behalf of the court system, I thank you for doing that,” Judge Tal Baggett told county commissioners Tuesday.Baggett said the county gave up $12,000 in adoption fees during the event.
