79-year-old found dead in Fayetteville home identified
A man found dead in his home off Ramsey Street on Sunday has been identified and Fayetteville police say the death appears to be suspicious.Willis Earl Whitfield, 79, of the 200 block of Plantation Road, was found unresponsive in his home about 2:15 p.m., a police news release said.His body was sent to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Raleigh to determine cause of death, the release said.Anyone with information should call Detective S.
