Lightning strike causes attic fire in Haymount
A lightning strike is believed to have started an attic fire at a home in Haymount on Wednesday night.The Fayetteville Fire/Emergency Management Department was dispatched at approximately 10 p.m. to 1710 Havilah Road.The first units to respond found nothing visible from three sides of the single-story structure, but further investigation revealed a fire in the attic.
