Parkton man charged with statutory rape
A Parkton man is accused of sexually assaulting a child under the age of 13, according to an arrest warrant in the Cumberland County Magistrate’s Office.Robert James Morphis, 17, of the 1700 block of West Parkton Tobemory Road, was charged Wednesday with first-degree statutory rape. The alleged assault happened June 13.The victim woke up to find Morphis on top of her, the warrant said.Bail was set at $50,000. Nancy McCleary
