Hope Mills man charged in sexual assault of woman
A Hope Mills man is accused of sexually assaulting a woman in February, according to arrest warrants in the Cumberland County Magistrate’s Office.Matthew Lee Rogers, 34, of the 8000 block of Saplin Drive, was charged Monday with second-degree forcible rape, second-degree forcible sex offense, felony restraint and misdemeanor sexual battery.The offenses are alleged to have happened Feb. 8, warrants said.Rogers is accused of picking up the victim on the Martin Luther King […]
