$50 million performing arts center funding discussed
Cumberland County could spend $50 million on a new performing arts center without raising taxes, a consultant said Thursday.Doug Carter, a financial consultant working with the county, told commissioners that money for the performing arts center should be set apart in an enterprise fund because the facility is expected to be self-sustaining.
