GenX anniversary marked at candlelight rally
About a dozen residents gathered near the Chemours plant Thursday to mark a year since the Wilmington StarNews broke the story that a potentially carcinogenic compound had been found in the Cape Fear River downstream from the facility.The candlelight rally was held between the Chemours property and N.C. 87 in Bladen County near the Cumberland County line.
