Seven-year federal sentence given to Lumberton man
A Lumberton man was sentenced to seven years in federal prison after pleading guilty to stealing a gun in August 2016 and using it to rob a man less than a month later.Marvin Earl Blanks Jr., 33, was sentenced by Chief U.S. District Judge James C. Dever III, according to a statement released Thursday by federal prosecutors for the Eastern District of North Carolina.
