North Carolina town commissioner jailed on multiple charges
CHOCOWINITY— A North Carolina town commissioner has turned himself in to authorities on multiple charges. The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office told area news outlets John “Curt” Jenkins is jailed on a $500,000 bond for assault by strangulation and second-degree kidnapping.
