Tornado warning issued for Cumberland, Hoke counties
A tornado warning has been issued for northern Cumberland and northeast Hoke counties until 4:30 p.m., the National Weather Service said.Affected areas include Fayetteville, Fort Bragg, Godwin, Pope AFB, Spring Lake, Eastover, Stedman, Wade, Falcon and Linden.A strong storm system was located seven miles west of Fort Bragg and moving east 30 mph, National Weather Service.Residents should move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.
