1. Census job recruitment event: The U.S. Census Bureau is recruiting thousands of workers in Cumberland County for temporary jobs in advance of the 2020 Census. Those who are interested are encouraged to attend a NC Works Bus Tour on Monday from noon to 5 p.m. in the Cumberland County Department of Public Health parking lot, 1235 Ramsey St. The bus has 10 computers so people can apply for jobs on site.
