Fire damages home in Devonwood neighborhood off Morganton Road
Five people were displaced Thursday after a house fire in the Devonwood subdivision off Morganton Road, the Fayetteville Fire Department said.The fire at 7040 Evanston St. was reported at 6:38 p.m., a Fire Department release said.Heavy smoke was coming from the single-story home when firefighters arrived.
