Fire guts three Fairmont businesses
FAIRMONT — A massive fire at a Fairmont shopping center on Friday destroyed all three businesses located there, authorities said.The fire on the 700 block of North Walnut Street gutted the Dollar Tree store, The Meat Store and The Hardware True Value store.”All three were frequented by Fairmont residents,” town Commissioner Charles Kemp said Monday.The fire left between 40 and 45 people without jobs, Kemp said.The fire was reported at 5:35 p.m., said Chief […]
