Two people displaced by house fire in Bonnie Doone; dog dies
An accidental fire Thursday morning heavily damaged a home in the Bonnie Doone neighborhood and displaced two occupants, the Fayetteville Fire Department said.The fire at 5105 Quillan St., behind the former Carolina Square shopping center on the 5100 block of Bragg Boulevard, was reported at 7:27 a.m. The two occupants were safely out of the house, but a dog died in the fire, the release said.Heavy smoke was coming from the one-story home when firefighters arrived.
