Killer gets years, rather than life, in Gaston slaying
A Burlington man will spend seven to 10 years in prison for shooting and killing another man near Bessemer City in 2016.Superior Court Judge Jeff Hunt sentenced 24-year-old Naijii Boyd to six to eight years in prison for voluntary manslaughter in the death of Clint Watson and one to two years in prison for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
