NAACP Founders’ Day banquet: The Fayetteville Branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People will hold its 78th Founders’ Day/Freedom Fund Banquet on Saturday at the Fuller Recreational Complex, 6627 Old Bunce Road. Doors open at 4 p.m. The keynote speaker is Anita Earls, associate justice of the North Carolina Supreme Court. Tickets are $45 for adults, $25 for students or youth.
