Bladen sheriff part of investigation into alleged election fraud
Leslie McCrae Dowless Jr. worked for many candidates in Bladen, Cumberland, Wake, Mecklenburg and Robeson counties over the years.At least one of those campaigns is now among those being looked at by the State Board of Elections Ethics & Enforcement, which has issued a subpoena for documents to the James Atlas McVicker Committee.McVicker is Bladen County’s sheriff.
