1. Railroad crossing work: Hay Street will be closed at the Amtrak station for a railroad crossing replacement starting at 7 a.m. Tuesday. The project is expected to be completed by Nov. 30. Message boards will be in place to notify drivers, but motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes. Drivers can still enter and exit downtown at Russell, Franklin and Rowan streets.2.
