Woman hit by car on Murchison Road in critical condition, police say
A pedestrian was in critical condition after being hit by a car on the 2500 block of Murchison Road on Wednesday, Fayetteville police said.The accident was reported at 1:27 p.m. and happened between Gillis Street and McLamb Drive in front of Kingdom Impact Global Ministries, said Officer Jeremy Strickland, a police spokesman.Neither the victim, a woman, nor the driver have been identified.The pedestrian was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, Strickland said.
