Lumberton police ID alleged robber, file charges
LUMBERTON — A man who was wanted by Lumberton police for trying to rob a person in a parking lot at a Walmart Neighborhood Market has been arrested.Brian Hilton Hardin, 44, of Singletary Road, was charged Wednesday with attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon and assault with a a deadly weapon.Investigators released a surveillance photo of a man they believe tried to rob another man in the store parking lot on Elizabethtown Road.
