The average number of new COVID-19 cases reported daily in Cumberland County has been going up steadily since the first of the month, according to the Cumberland County health director.Dr. Jennifer Green of the Department of Public Health said 232 new COVID-19 cases were reported between the release of the Friday morning case report through Monday.The county’s case count now stands at 2,489 with 49 deaths, the department said Monday in a news release.
