Bail raised for grandmother accused of not seeking medical care for abused baby
Bail for the Fayetteville grandmother accused of failing to get medical attention for her infant grandchild was increased Wednesday in Cumberland County District Court.Judge Tal Baggett raised bail for Mary Bagley Hughes, 63, of the 2300 block of Illinois Court, from $10,000 to $100,000 at her first-appearance hearing.Hughes was charged Tuesday with two counts of child abuse by neglect.
