Lincoln County — A man lucky enough to win the lottery last year was fortunate again Wednesday when he escaped with his life after crashing his helicopter in his front yard.Timothy Kniess, 56, was trying to hover his single-seat Mosquito Aviation XE helicopter when it crashed around 10:40 a.m. on Every Drive in Iron Station, which is in Lincoln County near the Gaston County line.
