U.S. official calls Iran jet downing 'reckless'
Iran’s downing of a Ukrainian passenger jet, killing all 176 people aboard, “was a terrible tragedy,” a senior Trump administration official said on Saturday, after Tehran admitted mistakenly shooting down the aircraft.
