Hope Mills votes to demolish church parish house
HOPE MILLS — The town Board of Commissioners voted Monday night to move ahead with demolition of the former Christ Episcopal Church parish house, despite one commissioner’s appeal to save it.The board voted 3-2 to pursue a $7,715 bid from D&G Excavating to level the Main Street building.
