Victim in Fayetteville State shooting faces charges
The victim in the Fayetteville State University shooting was arrested Thursday after being discharged from Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. Fayetteville police arrested Lavonte Antonio Carter, 20, of the 1500 block of Granite Square, on charges of having a gun on educational property and possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine.Carter was taken to the Cumberland County Detention Center with bail set at $25,000 unsecured.The shooting took place just […]
