Malachi's death a reminder to speak up for children
Superior Court clerk never met 4-year-old Malachi Golden but came to know while listening to court testimony of how he suffered before his death. She collected $3,500 from other courthouse workers and those touched by reading news accounts of his stepfather’s murder trial to buy the boy’s gravesite a headstone.
