Construction underway at site of former Hamont Grill
The architect who designed the blueprints for the rebuild of the former Hamont Grill and Steak House says the approximately $1 million reboot is going to be an improvement over the landmark structure that was gutted by a pre-dawn fire three years ago.The property, which is in the triangle of Morganton and Fort Bragg roads, is an active construction site.
