Hope Mills dedicates three public art sculptures
HOPE MILLS – Three public sculptures were dedicated Monday afternoon in what town officials hope will encourage more art in the community.The outdoor sculptures – one at Hope Mills Lake and two near the Town Hall complex- were created by art students from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke.The metal sculptures were purchased privately by Mayor Jackie Warner and family, Mayor Pro Tem Mike Mitchell’s CPA firm and by Elizabeth and Jim Blevins, who are members of the […]
