Sampson County woman found dead
CLINTON – A Garland woman who was reported missing last week was found dead Saturday in a wooded area in the Ingold community, the Sampson County Sheriff’s Office said.Eileen Marie Carter, 41, of Old U.S. 701, was reported missing about 10 p.m. on March 28 by family members, according to a Sheriff’s Office release.Investigators are not releasing information as to the exact location where her body was found and are not releasing a cause of death so as not to jeopardize […]
