Vikings hold QB McCarthy (knee) out of practice
Minnesota Vikings rookie quarterback J.J. McCarthy, days after his NFL preseason debut, reported right knee soreness to medical officials on Monday, coach Kevin O’Connell said, and was held out of participating in the team’s night practice.
