Thompson wins first PGA Tour title at John Deere
Davis Thompson, 25, from Georgia, who opened with five birdies in six holes on Sunday, won his first PGA Tour title, and it wasn’t even close, as he posted a 64 to set the 72-hole scoring record at the John Deere Classic in Silvis, Illinois.
