Ovechkin tops Gretzky record for empty-net goals
Washington Capitals star Alex Ovechkin scored his 57th career empty-net goal on Saturday afternoon, in a victory over the Boston Bruins, breaking a tie with Hall of Fame center Wayne Gretzky for the most in NHL history.
