Vikes release local legend Thielen after 9 seasons
The Vikings have released receiver Adam Thielen. Born in Minnesota, Thielen rose from playing at lightly regarded Minnesota State Mankato to ranking third on the Vikings’ career receptions list behind Cris Carter and Randy Moss.
