Key Proud Boys Jan. 6 co-conspirator pleads guilty, Tarrio lawyer says
John Charles Stewart, a Proud Boys member from Pennsylvania, has pleaded guilty in a secret cooperation agreement related to the seditious conspiracy indictment of Proud Boys longtime former leader Henry ‘Enrique’ Tarrio and others in the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol attack. The disclosure comes as the Justice Department is ratcheting up pressure on Proud Boys co-defendants before a December 12 trial, with plea talks ongoing with Tarrio co-defendant Zachary Rehl, a Proud Boys leader from Philadelphia.
