Biden to propose 4.6 percent pay raise for federal employees, the biggest hike in 15 years
The pay increase would follow an average 2.7 percent raise that took effect last month for 2.1 million executive branch workers, an increase allowed by default under federal law after Congress did not enact the president’s proposal by the end of December.
