Mississippi’s law mostly prohibits abortion after 15 weeks of pregnancy. None of the court’s six conservative justices expressed support for maintaining its precedent that states may not prohibit the procedure before the point of fetal viability, which is generally estimated to be between 22 and 24 weeks.
